First look of IT'S A WONDERFUL AFTERLIFE in India on April 1

Studio 18 will unveil the first look of Gurinder Chadha's "It’s A Wonderful Afterlife" in India on April 1. On April 15, fans will get a peak of the dubbed Hindi-Punjabi version titled "Hai Marjaawan". The English and Hindi versions will both release in India on May 7.

The first look will be unveiled on etc with Taran Adarsh at 8.30 pm and on CNN-IBN with Rajdeep Sardesai at 9.45pm. The Asian diaspora abroad can also check it out on www.youtube.com/studio18

Starring veteran actress Shabana Azmi in a pivotal role, It’s A Wonderful Afterlife, a romantic comedy, tells the story of a hysterical Punjabi mother who will go to extreme lengths to get her only daughter married. It additionally stars an ensemble international cast comprising Goldy Notay, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Sally Hawkins, Mark Addy, and Jimi Mistry.

"I think It’s A Wonderful Afterlife is my best work to date," said Chadha of her latest outing. Her previous release, "Bride & Prejudice" had been dubbed in Hindi, and titled "Balle Balle Amritsar To LA".
